Ever wondered where geese migrate to in the fall? Apparently they go “somewhere in the middle of the U.S. or southern U.S.,” which is kind of disappointing, honestly. The cool part is that no one knows how they find their way back to the exact same spots every year.
A friend of mine recently got engaged and told me they did it for “love, and also taxes.” This may have been a joke, but it sent me down a rabbit hole about taxes (a kind of boring rabbit hole, but nonetheless) and I concluded that as long as both people are working it actually doesn’t make a difference? If anyone reading this is an accountant or tax lawyer, let me know if I interpreted that right. Fun fact, I actually thought about going to law school, before deciding I wanted the stability and financial benefits of being a comedian.
